Cawley Graduates

David F. Cawley recently earned his master of science degree in organizational management with an emphasis in human resources from Misericordia University. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from College Misericordia in 2006. He graduated from Old Forge High School in 1995.

Cawley is married to the former Lori Storm and they reside in Covington Township. He is the son of Patrick and Floreann Cawley of Old Forge and grandson of Frances Kachinsky. He is currently a recruiting manager for Bayada Home Healthcare in East Stroudsburg.

Honor Society Inductees

The following area students have been inducted into honor societies at the University of Scranton:

• Alex Anzelmi of Old Forge was inducted into the alpha Epsilon Delta honor society for health pre-professional students.

• Dayton Beasley of Moosic was inducted into Phi Sigma Tau, the international honor society for students of philosophy.

• Norman Frederick of Pittston was inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon, the national honor society for mathematics majors.

• Kathryn Kitcho of Avoca and Eric Zielinski of Old Forge were inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honor society in the computing and information disciplines.

• Christopher Musto of Jenkins Township, Grace O’Neil of Avoca and Corey Smigiel of Moosic were inducted into Beta Beta Beta, the national honor society for biology.

• Erik Schab of Taylor was inducted into Phi Lambda Upsilon, the national honorary chemical society.

• Kristen Thomas of Moosic and Renee Witko of Avoca were inducted into Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society in social science.

Award Recipient

Richard Rinaldi of Old Forge received the Legal Research and Writing Award from Widener University School of Law. He also received the Widener Law Journal Award for Distinguished Legal Scholarship, which is given to a graduating member of the Widener Law Journal for distinguished service as well as distinguished legal writing abilities. Rinaldi will graduate this spring and will take both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams. He is married to the former Amanda Shimko and is the son of Robert and Jean Rinaldi of Old Forge.

Lycoming College Graduate

Nicole Marianelli of Old Forge recently received a bachelor of science degree in biology, anatomy and physiology with summa cum laude honors, from Lycoming College in Williamsport.
