During the summer, a student who was working at Old Forge High School developed a brain aneurysm. Teachers Jennifer White and Daniel Mozeleski, along with student Carlos Figueroa, came to the aid of stricken student by calling 911, bringing water and performing CPR until medical units arrived.

The student has recovered and is back in school and doing well, officials said.

On behalf of the Old Forge Board of Education, board president Joan Wilk recognized members of the Old Forge Police Department and who assisted during the incident.
